What factors affect microscope resolution?
"Resolution force" and "contrast" will image the sharpness of the image. Resolution force means the short distance between two points, for example
The image resolution power of the human eye is 200um(=0.2mm) at a clear distance of 25cm.
What does that mean? That means that if these two points are less than 200um apart, we can't see them clearly
In this case, we need to use a magnifying glass or microscope to increase the power of the image
A good microscope has a resolution power of 0.2mm, which is about 1,000 times that of the human eye
If the magnification of the microscope is more than 1000 times we use a special oil lens
Otherwise the magnification is invalid magnification because it starts to blur
